Annette King became the President and CEO of Manulife (Singapore) Pte Ltd in March, 2010. She is responsible for the overall development of Manulife's business operation in Singapore, including individual life insurance, private financial services for the high net worth market and wealth management - a business unit providing Unit Trust and other financial instruments for wealth building and protection.

Annette has extensive international experience with Asian market knowledge. She has 20 years of experience in the financial services and consulting sectors, holding key roles in marketing, finance, office administration, actuarial, product pricing & development, client management, and portfolio administration services in Australia and Singapore.  Her most recent appointment was Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer in a major European insurance company in Singapore. Previously with the same insurer, she was the Chief Financial Officer in Singapore and General Manager of a major business unit in Australia.

Annette is results driven with a track record of outperforming targets. She is strategic, growth focus and a visionary leader. With her strong financial, marketing and client management background, she will bring Manulife Singapore to a new height.

Originally from Australia, Annette holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from Macquarie University, Sydney. She is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia, a Fellow of the Singapore Actuarial Society and a Council Member.
