Manulife Singapore strengthens wealth and legacy leadership with projected early-breakeven participating solutions that last generations

  • Signature Legacy Harvest: USD participating solution with bonus realisation, liquidity, and multi-generational flexibility and projected early breakeven by the end of Policy Year 5.
  • Manulife WealthGen: SGD participating solution with guaranteed breakeven by end of Policy Year 5 for long-term growth and Supplementary Retirement Scheme (SRS) optimisation, amid growing interest in legacy planning among the emerging and mass affluent.  

SINGAPORE – January 28, 2026 – As high‑net‑worth (HNW) families refine their wealth strategies to prioritise wealth preservation, global diversification, and legacy continuity, Manulife Singapore today announced Signature Legacy Harvest, a USD‑denominated participating whole life plan for HNW and affluent customers, to help them grow, protect and transfer their wealth over the long term.

Manulife Singapore also introduced Manulife WealthGen, an SGD‑denominated participating plan designed to support emerging and mass affluent customers to achieve long‑term growth, retirement flexibility and Supplementary Retirement Scheme (SRS) optimisation.

Building on growing demand for early breakeven, access to liquidity, and long-term wealth preservation, both solutions empower HNW, affluent and emerging and mass affluent customers to grow and protect their wealth across generations, further reinforcing Manulife Singapore’s leadership in wealth and legacy planning.

 

Multi-Generational Flexibility Across Both Plans 

Both Signature Legacy Harvest and Manulife WealthGen provide customers with enhanced flexibility and policy continuation features that supports wealth preservation across generations. With features below, policy owners can structure the policy so that the value of the policy can be preserved and passed on to future generations:

  • Change of Life Insured
    Allows change in the life insured so that the policy value can continue to grow and be passed on to the next generation. 
  • Secondary Life Insured
    Allows the policy to continue with the secondary life insured to replace the existing life insured upon the unexpected death of life insured. 
  • Contingent Policy Owner
    Allows the current policy owner to nominate another person to take over as the policy owner upon the original policy owner’s demise or upon him or her being diagnosed with mental incapacity.  
  • Policy Split
    Flexibility to split the policy so that the future generation can inherit and benefit from the policy.  
  • Death Benefit Inheritance Option
    Option to distribute Death Benefits in instalments over multiple years that can facilitate a phased wealth transfer to your loved ones.

 

Signature Legacy Harvest: purpose-built to shape legacies across generations

Signature Legacy Harvest is designed to help HNW and affluent customers plan and shape their legacy across generations, while maintaining the flexibility to tap on the policy for ad-hoc needs:

  • Bonus Realisation
    Allows policy owners to “harvest” wealth from Year 5 onwards through ad-hoc or yearly bonus withdrawals – making the policy a dual-purpose solution for income while the policy value continues to nurture.
  • Early Breakeven
    Potential to reach breakeven as early as the end of Policy Year 51, helping policy owners stay on track toward their long‑term goals.
  • Highest Day-1 Surrender Value2 at 85% of Single Premium
    Provides immediate liquidity for global investments or financing opportunities, minimising cash outlay and maximising flexibility.
  • Resilience Care Benefit
    Cash out up to 100% terminal bonus upon diagnosis of any of the designated conditions, providing peace of mind during critical health events without dismantling the policy.
