Find out what Maternity Insurance Plans are

What is a maternity insurance plan?

Maternity insurance, or some may call pregnancy insurance, is an insurance plan provides coverage to both the mother and baby during pregnancy and for a period after birth.

How to choose a maternity insurance plan?

Choose a maternity insurance plan that covers a list of pregnancy conditions and congenital illnesses which you would like to protect yourself and your baby from. For added coverage, you can also look for maternity insurance plans with coverage for psychotherapy treatment to safeguard the psychological health of mothers.

Why choose Manulife’s maternity insurance plans?

Our maternity insurance plan provides peace of mind by covering a range of pregnancy complications including miscarriage due to an accident and a list of congenital illnesses1 for your child.

To ensure our maternity insurance plan is available for everyone, our plan also covers pregnancy by assisted conception procedures such as In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF), Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) and Intracervical Insemination (ICI).
